Fire & Police Museum



This restored 1925 fire station, located at Avenue H and Giddings, is a showcase of memorabilia including more than 20,000 items tracing the history and growth of the fire and police departments. The collections include firearms, official vehicles and much more.  Open noon-4 pm every Saturday or by appointment. Phone: 940-767-1412.  Admission is free.

Wichita Falls Railroad Museum


The Wichita Falls Railroad Museum is the site of the former Union Station and features equipment from six Texas Railroads, including the nation's largest collection of rolling stock from the Missouri-Kansas-Texas (Katy) Railroad.  It is open to the public Saturdays from Noon till 4pm. Located at 501 8th Street.

Kell House Museum



                                                             Located at 900 Bluff Street in Wichita Falls, this home of former community leader, Frank Kell, is now a National and State Historic Landmark which has been restored to its' former splendor with original Kell family furnishings.  The 19th Century furnishings include a player baby grand piano, seven fireplaces, hand-stenciled decorations and numerous other exhibits. Guided tours include stories about the Kell family and the early history of Wichita Falls. Admission is $3 for adults and $1 for children 12 and under.
